TEAM LEADER – YARD OPERATIONS Are you a hands-on leader who likes to stay one step ahead? Are you comfortable balancing people, priorities and day-to-day operational challenges? JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Leader – Yard Operations plays a key role in coordinating daily yard activities and supporting the team on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can organize priorities, anticipate operational needs, identify issues before they become problems and keep communication flowing between the yard and management. The Team Leader leads by example while ensuring that safety, productivity and accountability remain at the heart of daily operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate daily priorities, work assignments and yard activities with the Operations Manager Provide day-to-day guidance and support to yard employees Monitor workflow, productivity, schedules and operational priorities Coordinate equipment, materials, inventory and deliveries Monitor equipment condition and identify shortages, damages or discrepancies Promote compliance with health and safety procedures and address unsafe conditions Track operational information and provide updates to the Operations Manager Support the training and onboarding of new employees Act as a communication link between the yard, field operations and management Identify operational issues and recommend practical solutions Maintain a clean, organized and safe yard Perform other related duties as assigned THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience (required ) Experience in the scaffolding, construction or industrial sector (asset) Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (required) Valid driver's license (required) Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Proactive, resourceful and able to anticipate operational needs Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both on the floor and with operational data Strong leadership skills with a commitment to teamwork, accountability and safety Experience in the construction industry (an asset) Forklift operating experience or willingness to learn (an asset) WHO WE ARE Since 1990, Action Scaffold-Échafauds Plus has been a leader in access, scaffolding and safety solutions for the construction, industrial and commercial sectors across Quebec and Ontario.
