Team Leader (Automotive - Body Shop)

Job Summary

PITSTOP360 is seeking an experienced Body Shop Team Leader to oversee daily body shop operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure that repair jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong automotive body repair experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage workflow effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Body Shop Technicians, Denters, and Painters.
• Allocate repair jobs and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and workshop performance.
• Ensure proper utilization of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Management regarding job status and repair requirements.
• Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support training and development of body shop staff.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Body Shop experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repairs, denting, painting, panel replacement, and collision repair processes.
• Ability to read repair estimates and allocate work effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using workshop management systems and job card processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• GCC/UAE automotive workshop or dealership experience.
• Experience managing multi-brand vehicle repairs.
• UAE Driving License preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
