Job Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for leading, guiding, and coordinating the assigned team to ensure that all daily tasks and work activities are completed efficiently, safely, and according to company standards and client requirements.

The role involves assigning tasks, monitoring team performance, coordinating work activities, ensuring work quality, and reporting daily progress and any operational issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and supervise the assigned team during daily operations and site activities.
• Distribute daily tasks and ensure that all team members understand their responsibilities.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding work schedules, job assignments, and priorities.
• Monitor the team's performance and ensure all assigned jobs are completed on time.
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to company procedures, client requirements, and quality standards.
• Check the quality of completed work and ensure that any defects or incomplete tasks are rectified.
• Ensure that team members follow all health and safety rules and regulations while performing their duties.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and overall work performance.
• Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are properly used and handled by the team.
• Report any technical issues, work delays, equipment damage, or site-related problems to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coordinate with clients and other team members professionally when required.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members to improve work performance and productivity.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the work site after completion of assigned tasks.
• Prepare and submit daily work updates and progress reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure that all team members wear the required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in resolving daily operational problems and report major concerns to management.
• Perform hands-on work and assist the team whenever necessary.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience in team supervision, maintenance, MEP, or facility management is an advantage.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to assign tasks and manage a team effectively.
• Basic technical knowledge related to the company's services.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
• With valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
