This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and operational discipline to maintain CKP’s standards of accuracy, timeliness, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities A. Client Delivery and Technical Review - Review full sets of accounts, management reports, SST computations, and financial analyses. - Ensure compliance with MFRS/MPERS and CKP quality standards. - Lead and monitor month-end and year-end closing processes. - Prepare or review audit schedules, consolidation reports, and supporting documents. - Provide timely and professional responses to client queries and technical issues. B. Team Leadership and People Management - Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 3–4 associates and senior associates. - Plan and allocate workload to ensure efficiency and balanced team capacity. - Conduct technical training, on-the-job coaching, and performance evaluations. - Support staff development through structured competency improvement plans. - Maintain a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous growth. C. Process, SOP, and Technology Enhancement - Implement and promote the use of digital tools such as Xero, Dext, Syft, Lark and tools/system implemented by the Company. - Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. - Ensure adherence to CKP’s internal SOPs and documentation requirements. - Support the development and refinement of new processes aimed at improving productivity and service quality. D. Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of escalation for assigned clients. - Support senior management during client meetings and presentations. - Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention. - Identify opportunities to introduce additional CKP services such as payroll, advisory, or CFO-related support. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Timeliness of monthly and quarterly deliverables - Accuracy and error rate of reviewed work - Team productivity and effectiveness - Client satisfaction and renewal rates - Technology adoption and workflow compliance - Profit margin of assigned client portfolio - Staff growth and retention within the team Required Qualifications and Skills - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline - Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MICPA) are an advantage - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or outsourcing - Strong technical understanding of MFRS, full set of accounts, and SST - Prior experience leading or supervising junior team members is preferred - Proficient in cloud accounting systems; Xero experience is an added advantage - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage deadlines, handle pressure, and prioritize multiple tasks CKP Competency and Cultural Expectations - Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and professionalism - Committed to high-quality work and continuous improvement - Adopts a growth mindset and is open to learning new technologies - Able to work collaboratively and maintain a positive team environment - Shows initiative in identifying issues and proposing practical solutions Career Development Path Team Lead → Assistant Manager → Manager → Senior Manager → Director → Partner Progression opportunities are available based on performance, leadership capability, and alignment with CKP’s strategic direction.
