Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations including VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, and local government requirements. Handle BIR audits, correspondence, and coordination during assessments or investigations. Maintain updated knowledge on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments. Financial Statement Preparation Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure financial reports reflect correct accounting treatment and tax impact. Coordinate with external auditors during audit season. Supervision and Coordination Supervise day-to-day recording of sales and expenses, ensuring accurate classification and completeness. Oversee the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules related to tax and statutory reporting. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants or bookkeepers under the finance team. Tax Planning and Strategy Develop tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance. Provide management with insights and recommendations on tax risks and opportunities. Assist in budgeting and forecasting, particularly on the tax implications of company operations. Documentation and Internal Controls Maintain proper documentation for tax returns, official receipts, invoices, and supporting schedules. Help develop and improve internal controls related to taxation and financial processes. Support the implementation of ERP/accounting systems for better tax and financial data management. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Imus, Cavite: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Management: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
