Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns using advanced tax preparation software. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by staying updated on current regulations and implementing best practices. Analyze financial documents such as W-2s, 1099s, bank statements, and ledger reports to accurately compile tax information. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes while maintaining compliance with tax law. Support the firm’s marketing efforts by participating in client acquisition initiatives and promoting our tax services. Skills Strong understanding of tax law, tax reporting requirements, and tax return preparation processes. Proficiency in tax preparation software such as TaxSlayer, TaxWise, or similar platforms. Solid accounting skills with experience using accounting software for bookkeeping and financial analysis. Knowledge of partnership and corporate tax expertise to handle diverse client needs effectively. Ability to analyze financial data accurately using analysis skills and math proficiency. Familiarity with public accounting practices, technical accounting standards, and bookkeeping procedures. Experience with marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the firm’s client base.
