Tax head/Director

Location: Singapore

Reporting to: CFO

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the company’s tax function across Singapore and overseas markets.

Lead direct and indirect tax compliance, planning and risk management.

Advise on cross-border transactions, overseas operations and business expansion.

Manage tax audits and relationships with tax authorities and external advisers.

Lead and develop tax team.

Requirements

Extensive relevant tax experience, including responsibility for an in-house tax function.

Experience in digital businesses is required.

Strong practical experience in both direct and indirect tax, including overseas and cross-border tax matters.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex tax matters, lead a team and advise senior management.

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate with English- and Mandarin-speaking customers, respond to enquiries, and provide customer service.
