Tax Accountant
We are a growing CPA firm, looking for a tax preparer/accountant who is highly motivated, organized, and has broad experience. We are looking for someone who can help with tax preparation, bookkeeping, Tax planning, business advising, and other tasks. Most importantly, we want someone who is excited to join a small team, eager to learn, and willing to try new things. There will be plenty of opportunities to try new things and help grow the firm. Responsibilities Prepare tax returns Reconcile bank accounts in QB books online Correspond with clients Assist with Tax planning Help advise on tax strategies Other office admin functions as needed Skills Required - At least 4 Years of Tax Preparation Experience Knowledge of Individual Tax Preparation Knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and personal and business tax returns Knowledge of tax software and MS Office (ProSeries a plus) Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems Analytical skills and detail orientation Bachelor’s degree CPA or EA Preferred (or eligible and trying) Preferred - Experience in Financial Planning & Wealth Management Preferred - Experience in Estate & Trust Tax Preparation Preferred - Experience in Foreign Tax Compliance To apply for this job, please tell me your applicable experience and your ideal compensation.
