Talent Acquisition Specialist

How You Will Make an Impact The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on developing and implementing recruiting strategies and plans to support the company staffing needs. This position will oversee “source to seat” recruitment for primarily Production & Maintenance (P&M) Hourly positions. The Nuts and Bolts Facilitate full-cycle recruitment process, including researching best talent sources & candidate pools, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, offer letters, and pre-employment screening Develop recruiting communications for community outreach, and establishing relationships with vocational and trade Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria Review & screen resumes Conduct preliminary phone interviews with candidates and schedule on-site interviews as needed, schedule travel arrangements when necessary Provide phone screen summary and recommendations to hiring manager for interviews and hiring decisions Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters for candidates Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies concerning the interview process Attend and participate in community high school, vocational and trade school job fairs Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database Perform other related duties as required and assigned Required Credentials Education: High School diploma or GED; A.S. or B.S.
