Talent Acquisition Lead

Gemini AMPM Ltd · Burgess Hill RH15 9TL

The job that runs our careers site. Time Served is the hiring platform for the fire and security installation and maintenance industry, built and owned by the AMPM Group, an employee-owned group of fire, security and building services companies across London and the South East. We are recruiting the person who will run it: a hands-on, standalone role covering talent acquisition for two growing trading companies and the people operations behind them. The split is roughly 80% talent acquisition, 20% people operations. Both sides matter, but we weight demonstrable sourcing results above qualifications. The work - Build and manage direct sourcing pipelines for installation and service engineers across fire detection, intruder alarm, access control, CCTV and suppression, without default agency spend - Write precise, trade-specific job adverts; post and manage listings across Indeed, LinkedIn, the FIA job board and trade forums; run the sponsored listings and job board analytics - Represent the company at careers fairs, industry events and FE college open days - Own the full recruitment cycle for every hire: briefing managers, screening, structured first-stage interviews, technical assessments with operational leads, offers - Source and recruit apprentices through FE colleges and the National Apprenticeship Service, and admin and support staff as the business scales - Own onboarding end to end: offer letters, contracts, right to work, DBS checks where required, structured first-week induction, and personnel records kept in full GDPR compliance - Administer Time Served itself, and use the latest AI tools to make sourcing, screening and drafting faster and sharper What we are looking for - Proven direct sourcing, preferably in technical or trade industries. This is the single thing we weight most heavily - Experience in marketing available roles and attending job fairs, comfortable representing the company in person - A methodical record-keeper with a genuine understanding of GDPR - Fluent with current AI tools and keen to build with them, not only use them Full time, 40 hours a week. Burgess Hill, office based five days a week. Salary depends on what you bring; we discuss it openly at first conversation. How to apply: we do not need a covering letter. Send your CV with a short note telling us which engineering or technical roles you have sourced directly and how you found and handled the candidates. That is the first thing we read. Applications are reviewed weekly, the role is open until filled, and we acknowledge every application within five working days. The full job description comes back with our reply. Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Work Location: In person
