Your work profile The Python Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using Python technologies. The role focuses on building secure, high-performance, and reliable services that support business operations and customer-facing applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the developer ensures seamless system integration, optimal application performance, and adherence to coding best practices. The developer contributes to delivering innovative solutions that enhance business value, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Skills & Competencies Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services using Python. Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. Develop scalable and secure server-side applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams. Optimize application performance and database queries. Integrate third-party APIs and services. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. Implement security and data protection best practices. Preferred Qualifications Education - B. Tech or BE Success Metrics 5-6 years of strong hands-on experience in Python, hands on API development, Docker, CI/CD and Cloud exposure, Microservices and system design knowledge Framework- Fast API/Django/Flask Databases-PostgreSQL, MySQL DevOps tools- Git, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines. Managing Quality & Risk - Delivering high-quality results and mitigating risks with utmost integrity and precision. Tech Savvy - Leveraging ethical technology practices to deliver high impact for clients and for Deloitte. Location and way of working Base location: Hyderabad This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations. Hybrid is our default way of working.
