Knowledge and/or Experience 10 years seagoing experience as a shipboard engineer or sea officer, including 2 years as Chief Engineer or Master The Head of Marine shall be experienced in handling/ managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry. Marine and offshore installation experience, including management level or equivalent, with responsibility for managing offshore spreads and major offshore projects execution. Knowledge of oil and gas industry bodies, national and international maritime and shipping regulations. Strong operational marine knowledge. Knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards. Experienced in handling and managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry. Broad and extensive knowledge of critical marine operations including offshore installation, construction vessels and barges, heavy lifts, transportation, pipe and cable lay, jack-up accommodation barges, and dive support vessels. Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning Systems & Operations, DP FMEA Analysis, DP FMEA Proving Trials, Annual DP Trials, ASOG/CAM. Experience on establishing and managing Marine Assurance & Compliance processes in accordance with Corporate requirements and international standards. Highly knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards. Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy experience is advantageous.
