You'll sit between engineering, infrastructure, and the trading desk; building the automation and tooling that keep critical platforms fast, stable, and secure. Strong mentorship component: you'll be a technical anchor for junior engineers, not just an IC. What You'll Own Automation & tooling: Python-driven automation across trading/data platforms, plus Bash for system-level administration and monitoring. Reliability & performance: troubleshooting latency and uptime issues in production, running post-incident reviews, and closing the loop with long-term fixes. Infrastructure leadership: driving upgrades, patching, and security/compliance alignment across a hybrid on-prem/cloud footprint.
