Job Description: Full time fixed term opportunity until June 2026 Make a meaningful contribution to the effective functioning of the RMH Mental Health Service Work directly with a range of clinical, technical, administrative and management professionals About the Role As the Systems and Data Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting system development and maintenance, reporting and on-the-ground technical support across Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services. You’ll join a collaborative team committed to using data and digital solutions to enhance mental health service delivery. Working closely with the Finance and Corporate Services Manager and teams across MHS, you’ll provide practical technical solutions across systems, reporting, hardware and corporate services. You’ll also work with high-priority mental health data, supporting its collection, reporting and use to inform service planning and decision-making. With a strong connection to frontline mental health services, this is an opportunity to combine your technical and analytical skills with a genuine understanding of operational needs and make a practical impact across MHS. Key Accountabilities Report development and maintenance including participation and input at key MHS meetings, working groups and projects Form and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across RMH Create and maintain a high level of documentation, manuals and training material Provide on-site support for facilities, inventory, hardware assistance, on-site technical support and corporate services across all mental health sites Lead the scoping, proposal development, planning and implementation of targeted technical solutions for the collection, reporting and utilisation of high priority mental health information Provide ad-hoc technical assistance to ensure the continued smooth running of the mental health sites Development and maintenance of systems, databases and workflows in collaboration with other RMH teams About You You bring strong technical, analytical and communication skills, with experience working with data and reporting systems. You’ll also bring: Strong digital capability, including databases, reporting tools and Microsoft Office Intermediate SQL and database structure knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently Confidence supporting and training staff Experience in a hospital, healthcare or medical setting A commitment to the Melbourne Way: putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together Desirable MS Report Builder, Power BI and/or Python Knowledge of mental health data collections Benefits of Working at RMH Meaningful Work Make a real difference in the lives of patients, families and our community.
