In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to extract, transform, and analyze clinical data. You will design and manage executive-level quality dashboards, drive Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) reporting, and oversee compliance with key regulatory and quality reporting programs. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between clinical operations and IT, turning raw healthcare data into actionable strategic insights. Key ResponsibilitiesData Extraction & Analytics Extract, query, and analyze complex clinical, demographic, and operational data directly from the eClinicalWorks (eCW) database (including backend database structures, SQL/eBO, or reporting tables). Develop, automate, and maintain quality dashboards and performance heatmaps for senior leadership and operational managers. Maintain data integrity, perform data validation checks, and troubleshoot discrepancies between clinical workflows and reported metrics. Quality & Regulatory Reporting Manage end-to-end data collection, validation, and submission for Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition and maintenance. Lead regulatory and clinical quality measures (CQM) reporting initiatives, such as MIPS/MACRA, HEDIS, UDS, and Value-Based Care (VBC) programs. Monitor changing federal, state, and payer quality guidelines to ensure system workflows and reporting templates remain compliant. System Optimization & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with clinical teams to optimize eCW clinical documentation workflows, templates, and structured data capture to support reporting requirements. Translate executive business questions into technical reporting specifications and data visualisations. Present monthly and quarterly quality metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities to executive leadership. Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). eClinicalWorks Expertise Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW), including deep knowledge of eCW reporting tools, eBO (eClinicalWorks Business Optimizer), or SQL database structure. Technical Skills: Advanced SQL capabilities for querying eMR relational databases. Proficiency with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel/Power Query). Healthcare Knowledge Proven track record with PCMH reporting and NCQA recognition processes. Strong understanding of healthcare quality measures (MIPS, HEDIS, CQMs, UDS). Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and SNOMED coding frameworks. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills; ability to convey technical data concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications eClinicalWorks Certified Specialist or Admin credentials Experience in an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) or multi-specialty ambulatory practice setting. Knowledge of healthcare data exchange protocols (HL7, FHIR, C-CDA).
