# System Administration Specialist **Gulf Future Business** · Manama · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The System Administration Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure, cloud services, end-user computing environment, and enterprise applications. The role ensures the availability, reliability, performance, and security of IT systems while providing technical support to approximately 200 users across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, backup and disaster recovery, and IT security, with the ability to support specialized engineering and GIS applications. Responsibilities: - Provide IT support to 200 users, including PCs, printers, multifunction printers, and plotters. - Manage Windows Servers, Hyper-V, local storage, and EMC NAS. - Manage and secure AWS services, including EC2, Security Groups, S3, and Storage Gateway. - Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection. - Manage the head office network, including Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, and biometric systems. - Manage Altaro backup and replication for on-premises systems and Microsoft 365. - Administer cloud-based IP telephony and eFax systems. - Install, configure, and support engineering and design software, including Bentley MicroStation, ZWCAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Cloud, PTV, and MIKE 21. - Support IT projects, prepare reports, and assist with IT security and compliance activities. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - At least 7 years of experience in system administration and IT support. - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server 2019 or later. - Practical experience with AWS. - Experience supporting engineering or GIS software such as MicroStation, ArcGIS, PTV, and MIKE 21 is an advantage. - Good spoken and written English. - Availability to provide urgent IT support outside working hours when required. Preferred Certifications - CCNA - Microsoft certifications (MCITP, MCTS, or Exchange) - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Work Location: In person
