Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this leader will oversee enterprise infrastructure and technology operations while advancing the cloud and platform capabilities that support engineering, analytics, and AI initiatives. The position combines executive leadership, operational accountability, and technology transformation. Responsibilities - Establish the strategy and execution roadmap for infrastructure, cloud platforms, and shared technology services. - Develop reusable, self-service capabilities that help internal teams deliver applications, analytics, and AI solutions efficiently and securely. - Oversee the production services supporting an Azure-based environment, modern data platforms, and enterprise AI workloads. - Maintain reliable operations across networking, communications, workplace technology, production support, service management, and core infrastructure. - Strengthen availability, recovery capabilities, incident management, and the overall service experience. - Expand automation, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted operational capabilities. - Lead a globally distributed organization through senior functional leaders, developing talent and strengthening succession planning. - Grow an internal European technology delivery hub, including local leadership, specialist capabilities, and employee retention. - Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, service performance, and cost optimization. - Partner with information security leadership to maintain effective controls and manage technology risk. - Measure platform adoption, developer experience, service quality, and business impact to guide investment decisions. Required Qualifications - Significant executive or senior leadership experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical technology services. - Demonstrated success building or operating large-scale cloud, data, or AI platforms. - Experience converting technology capabilities into standardized services that internal teams can access and reuse. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, modern data environments, automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code. - Broad accountability for enterprise infrastructure, end-user services, production support, and IT service management. - A record of improving resilience, availability, incident response, service quality, and operating costs. - Experience managing senior leaders and teams across multiple countries. - Success establishing or expanding an insourced technology delivery center. - Substantial budget and vendor-management responsibility. - Effective partnership with cybersecurity leadership and a practical understanding of security controls. - Executive communication skills and the ability to translate strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Preferred Qualifications - Financial services, investment management, or another highly regulated industry background. - Experience operating Snowflake and dbt within a layered enterprise data architecture. - Experience expanding technology teams in European delivery locations. - Familiarity with platform product management, developer experience, and adoption metrics. Compensation and Work Arrangement The anticipated annual base salary is $310,000–$350,000. The position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
