About the Role As an Outreach Coordinator , you’ll be the face of our community engagement efforts, leading education and outreach programs focused on waste reduction and recycling. You’ll work with businesses, schools, multi-family residences, and at community events to promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities - Develop and deliver outreach programs on recycling, food waste, and waste reduction. - Engage with local businesses, schools, and residents to promote sustainable practices. - Represent the company at community events and public forums. - Create educational materials and presentations tailored to diverse audiences. - Track and report outreach metrics and program effectiveness. What You Bring - Passion for environmental sustainability and local recycling initiatives. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience speaking to both large and small groups. - Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. - Organized, flexible, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. - Experience managing projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. - At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, specifically in the waste industry.
