# Survey Manager-High Rise Buildings Construction **Venco Imtiaz Contracting Co** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Title : Survey Manger Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Building Construction / High-Rise Projects Experience: Minimum 15+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Land Survey Manager with a minimum of 15+ years of professional experience , including substantial experience in the UAE construction industry and high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all surveying activities across construction projects, ensuring accurate setting out, measurements, levels, coordinates, and as-built surveys in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of modern surveying equipment and software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage survey teams and coordinate with project management, engineering, consultants, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all land surveying activities for high-rise building construction projects. - Establish and maintain project control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference systems. - Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings, and architectural drawings to identify surveying requirements. - Conduct accurate setting out for foundations, columns, core walls, structural elements, façade works, and other construction activities. - Monitor and verify horizontal and vertical alignment, elevations, levels, dimensions, and coordinates. - Carry out detailed topographical, structural, dimensional, and as-built surveys. - Ensure all surveying activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable UAE standards. - Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC teams, consultants, and subcontractors. - Check and verify survey calculations, measurements, and setting-out data prepared by surveyors. - Supervise and develop the surveying team, including Senior Surveyors, Surveyors, and Survey Assistants. - Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safe operation of total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, laser equipment, and other surveying instruments. - Prepare and review survey reports, calculation sheets, inspection records, and as-built documentation. - Identify and resolve discrepancies between drawings, site conditions, and survey data. - Provide technical support to construction teams regarding levels, coordinates, alignment, and dimensional control. - Maintain accurate records of survey data and ensure proper documentation and filing. - Conduct regular checks to ensure construction works are within approved tolerances. - Coordinate with consultants and authorities when required for surveying and verification activities. - Support the project team in resolving technical and surveying-related site issues. - Ensure surveying activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project HSE requirements. Technical Requirements: - Minimum 15+ years of experience in land surveying, with significant experience in UAE building construction projects . - Strong experience in high-rise building construction projects is mandatory. - Strong knowledge of construction surveying, setting out, dimensional control, levels, coordinates, and as-built surveys. - Excellent knowledge of Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, Digital Level, Laser Level , and other modern surveying equipment. - Proficiency in relevant surveying and engineering software, including AutoCAD and survey data processing applications. - Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings. - Strong understanding of construction tolerances, benchmarks, grids, coordinates, and elevation control. - Experience in managing and coordinating a team of surveyors. - Knowledge of UAE construction practices and project requirements. - Ability to independently review survey calculations and resolve technical discrepancies. Communication & Management Skills: - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills . - Strong coordination and interpersonal skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, clients, project management, engineers, and site teams. - Strong leadership and team-management abilities. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple surveying activities across different areas of a high-rise project. Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Survey Engineering , or a related field. - Relevant professional certifications in surveying will be an added advantage. - UAE experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory.
