We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and support the effective planning, analysis and continuous improvement of our supply chain operations. This role will work closely with our Supply and Distribution Manager and operational teams to analyse inventory, purchasing, order fulfilment, supplier and delivery performance, identify supply chain issues and recommend practical improvements. Key Responsibilities · Monitor and analyse stock levels and inventory movements of fresh produce to identify shortages, excess inventory and unusual stock movements, and support inventory planning to meet customer demand while minimising wastage. · Review stock-take results and inventory records, investigate stock discrepancies and identify their causes, and recommend improvements to maintain accurate inventory records and improve stock control. · Analyse historical sales, customer order and inventory data extracted from the iPRODUCE system to identify demand patterns and support purchasing, inventory and supply planning. · Analyse recurring excess stock and wastage by reviewing historical sales, order and inventory data to identify underlying causes and recommend adjustments to purchasing quantities or ordering frequency. · Review customer orders, dispatch information and delivery outcomes to identify recurring order discrepancies, fulfilment issues and delivery delays, and investigate the underlying causes of these issues. · Monitor product movements and delivery activities, including interstate deliveries, and maintain or review delivery and shipment information to identify delays, logistical issues and opportunities to improve delivery efficiency. · Analyse supplier performance, including delivery reliability, product availability, order accuracy and other recurring supply issues, and provide findings and recommendations to support purchasing and supplier management decisions. · Prepare daily reports on inventory, order and supply chain performance using the iPRODUCE system, highlighting discrepancies, trends and operational issues for management review. · Work closely with the Supply and Distribution Manager, warehouse staff, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders to investigate inventory, order and delivery issues and develop practical solutions. · Identify supply chain risks and inefficiencies, including stock shortages, excess inventory, supplier delays and logistical issues, and recommend appropriate measures to minimise disruption to product supply and customer orders. · Review existing inventory, ordering, delivery and supply chain workflows and recommend changes to improve the accuracy, efficiency and coordination of supply chain operations. · Assist with the implementation of approved supply chain improvements and review subsequent performance to determine whether the changes have addressed the identified issues. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: · A relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business, commerce, engineering or a related discipline. · A minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience in supply chain analysis or a closely related role, with exposure to inventory, purchasing, order fulfilment and delivery operations. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to analyse inventory, sales, customer order and purchasing data, identify trends and investigate operational issues. · Experience in inventory analysis and planning, including monitoring stock movements, investigating inventory discrepancies and supporting demand and supply planning. · Experience in analysing supplier performance, order fulfilment and delivery performance, and identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency. · Strong reporting skills, including the ability to identify and communicate trends, discrepancies, risks and opportunities for process improvement. · Experience in reviewing supply chain processes and recommending practical improvements to inventory, ordering, purchasing and delivery workflows. · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, operational teams, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders. · Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. · Experience in fresh produce, food distribution, FMCG, wholesale or another fast-moving supply chain environment will be highly regarded. · Experience using inventory, ERP or supply chain management systems for data analysis and reporting will be advantageous.
