The Immigration Law Center is ThriveMV's newest program — launching in late 2026 or early 2027 — designed to provide affordable, trustworthy, and culturally competent immigration legal services to individuals and families across Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties. The Supervising Immigration Attorney is not simply the program's first hire — this person will be its architect. You will help launch the law center from the ground up: establishing legal protocols, shaping service delivery, building referral relationships with partners inside and outside of ThriveMV's existing network, and earning the trust of a community long underserved by accessible legal representation. This is a rare opportunity to build something that will outlast you. You will hold professional and ethical authority over all legal services delivered through the program. That independence is non-negotiable — the legal judgment of the Supervising Attorney is not subject to override by the Board, funders, or fundraising considerations. This autonomy comes with real accountability: you set the standard for quality, competence, and client dignity. This role is very flexible. We can go contract or w2 part time. We would also consider full time with benefits for the right candidate.
