The role will ensure that structural works are designed and executed in accordance with approved plans, project specifications, applicable codes, and required safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural systems. Prepare, review, and evaluate structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Develop structural designs that comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements. Review structural plans and identify design conflicts, discrepancies, and constructability issues. Coordinate with Architects, Civil Engineers, MEPF Engineers, BIM Modelers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and solutions for structural issues encountered during construction. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and structural details. Conduct site inspections to verify that structural works are implemented in accordance with approved designs and specifications. Evaluate proposed design changes, variations, and their structural implications. Assist in resolving RFIs, technical queries, and site-related structural concerns. Review structural calculations and designs prepared by other engineers or consultants when required. Monitor the quality and progress of structural works and provide technical recommendations. Prepare technical reports, structural assessments, and other engineering documentation. Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure compliance with structural quality requirements. Support project teams during testing, inspections, commissioning, and project close-out activities. Provide technical input during project planning, coordination, and design review meetings. Ensure proper documentation and control of structural design revisions. Perform other structural engineering duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Licensed Civil Engineer is required. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering , preferably in construction, engineering consultancy, or project development. Strong experience in structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. Experience in Building, Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, or Light Civil projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of applicable structural design codes and construction standards. Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 , or equivalent. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage. Ability to review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project requirements. Willing to be assigned to project sites or office-based project teams , depending on project requirements.
