STOREKEEPER - MEP
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory control, proper documentation, and timely material availability to support project sites. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes Maintain accurate records of stock levels, material movement, and inventory using store management systems/software Issue materials to site teams based on approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and systematic storage layout for materials and equipment Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records; report discrepancies Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of stock and follow up on pending deliveries Maintain records of GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), delivery notes, material issue vouchers, and return notes Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and raise reorder requests as needed Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of MEP materials (cables, pipes, fittings, electrical/plumbing components, etc.) Coordinate with site teams and project managers for material planning and timely dispatch to project sites Ensure compliance with safety and storage handling procedures, especially for hazardous or sensitive materials Maintain asset and tools/equipment tracking records Prepare periodic stock reports (weekly/monthly) for management Support internal and external audits related to inventory and store operations Requirements: Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in the MEP/construction industry Good knowledge of MEP materials — cables, conduits, pipes, fittings, valves, electrical accessories, etc. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and general computer applications Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to coordinate effectively with procurement, site, and project teams Basic knowledge of health & safety practices for material handling and storage Diploma, B.Com, or BCS (Computer Science) qualification Good communication skills Work Location: In person
