The Shop Supervisor is responsible for driving sales performance, mentoring the team, safeguarding company assets, and upholding Scentsmith Perfumery’s reputation for artisanal craftsmanship, authenticity, and exceptional service. Functional / Horizontal Coordination Department Officers/Managers Department Staff/Assistant Store Personnel 3. External Coordination Customers Mall Administration MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Store Operations & Customer Service Ensure smooth store operations and deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Scentsmith’s premium fragrance brand values. Resolve customer concerns effectively and maintain a zero-complaint policy by ensuring personalized service at every touchpoint. Maintain store cleanliness, ambiance, and scenting standards that reflect the brand identity. 2. Team Leadership & Development Conduct daily team huddles and monthly store meetings to discuss sales targets, promotional activities, customer feedback, and operational updates. Coach, mentor, and motivate the team to embody Scentsmith’s brand values: craftsmanship, authenticity, and sensory expertise. Oversee task rotation to ensure staff proficiency in selling, cashiering, inventory handling, and fragrance consultation. Provide onboarding, product knowledge training, and continuous development opportunities for staff. 3. Sales & Reporting Drive sales performance by monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Ensure accurate sales reporting and timely submission of operational and activity reports to the Area Manager. Track sales per product category (bestsellers, limited editions, promotions) to support merchandising strategies. 4. Visual Merchandising & Promotions Implement store layouts and window displays in line with Scentsmith’s merchandising guidelines and promotional calendars. Ensure fragrance testers, display bottles, and merchandising materials are always well-presented and replenished. Collaborate with the Marketing and Merchandising team on upcoming campaigns and product launches. 5. Inventory & Asset Management Monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock situations. Ensure accuracy in ordering, receiving, and documenting stock movement. Safeguard company assets, including products, cash, and store equipment. Enforce proper cash handling procedures, including deposit scheduling and sales reconciliation. 6. Brand Standards & Compliance Maintain Scentsmith’s premium store image by ensuring staff grooming, behavior, and customer interaction reflect the brand. Guarantee strict compliance with company policies, mall regulations, and security protocols. Ensure store facilities are clean, sanitized, and safe for both customers and employees. 7. Community & Brand Engagement Support Scentsmith’s advocacy and community initiatives by participating in brand events, workshops, and CSR programs. Act as a brand ambassador by demonstrating passion for artisanal perfumery and educating customers on fragrance craftsmanship. 8. Other Duties Perform additional responsibilities as may be assigned to support the growth and objectives of Scentsmith Perfumery Inc. PREFERED CRITERIA: Graduates of 4-year Business related Courses. 1-2 years supervisory experience, preferably in the service industry Verifiable records of achievement, specifically in the areas of; a. Achieving / surpassing viability targets b. Systems building and implementation (Operations Development) c. Team leadership and rapport with all levels in the Organization Personal Competencies and Disposition: a. Ability to analyze figures b. Knowledgeable in developing market and feasibility studies c. Passion for fragrances and luxury retail d. Excellent communication and customer engagement skills e. High sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail f.
