# Store manager- fish and chips shop **SevenSeas Fresh Seafood** · Mosman NSW · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role EXPERIENCED FISH & CHIPS SHOP MANAGER – MOSMAN Gold Snapper Mosman is looking for an experienced, hands-on manager to lead our seafood and fish-and-chips shop and help improve its overall performance. This is not only an office-based management position. We need someone who can lead the team, manage the business responsibly and work alongside staff during busy periods. Key responsibilities Manage the shop’s daily operations from opening to closing Lead, train, guide and motivate the team Prepare staff rosters within the approved labour budget Monitor employee performance, punctuality and productivity Complete regular stocktakes and maintain accurate stock records Order stock according to sales forecasts and available budgets Control food costs, portion sizes, wastage and unnecessary expenses Establish and manage an effective waste-management system Work toward weekly sales and profitability targets Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and customer service Ensure compliance with food-safety, hygiene and cleaning requirements Handle customer concerns professionally Help develop, cost and introduce profitable new menu items Monitor product pricing and recommend operational improvements Prepare weekly reports covering sales, labour, stock, waste and store performance Cook fish and chips and other menu items when required Fillet, portion and prepare fresh seafood Support the team during busy weekends and holiday periods About you The successful applicant should have: Previous management or supervisory experience in a fish-and-chips shop, seafood shop, takeaway or busy hospitality business Strong knowledge of stock control, food costing and waste reduction Experience managing employees, rosters and labour costs Strong leadership and communication skills The ability to work within an agreed store budget Experience creating and introducing new menu items Practical cooking and seafood-filleting skills A strong understanding of food safety and workplace hygiene The ability to remain calm and organised during busy services A genuine interest in improving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and peak holiday periods Salary and incentives Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based profit-sharing opportunity If the store achieves weekly sales above $30,000, the manager may receive 5% of the agreed store profit for the qualifying period, subject to the documented incentive terms Christmas performance bonus Opportunity to grow with the Gold Snapper brand To apply, please submit your résumé and a short introduction explaining: Your fish-and-chips, seafood or hospitality management experience Your cooking and fish-filleting experience How you would improve sales, control waste and manage labour costs Your availability to work weekends and busy periods Location: Gold Snapper, Mosman NSW Position: Full-time Store Manager Pay: From $30.50 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Profit sharing Work Location: In person
