Store Manager
Seeking Store Manager (1x) for our liquor store based in North Shore location in Auckland. As a Store Manager, you will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and should be available during the weekends as well some late evenings. The pay rate would be $25 per hour. The main duties would be as follows: Oversee the liquor store's daily operations. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales and transactions, which is essential for financial tracking and transparency. Regularly monitor inventory to avoid shortages, manage supplies effectively and verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality. Foster positive customer relationships and train the staff to uphold high customer service standards, improving overall customer satisfaction. Promptly address customer questions and concerns providing accurate information and maintaining a positive experience for all visitors. Maintain store security. Enforce best practices in workplace conduct to create a safe, professional environment for staff and customers. Supervise the employees and make sure they report for duty on time and cover their working hours. Be the first point of contact for all staff for rosters, leaves, grievances etc. Ensure the staff is trained as per their position and monitor their performance. Strictly enforce the health and safety protocols ensuring a safe shopping experience for customers and a safe work environment for the staff. Skills required: You should have 1 yr of work experience or Level 4 or Higher qualification. LCQ (License Controller Qualification) is required. If you do not have readily available, the company can assist you in getting one. Good communication & leadership skills as well as team management. Ability to tackle challenging situations and handle work under pressure. A clean character with no criminal history. Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
