Staffing Coordinator
Rainbow Home Care needs a Staffing Coordinator to join our Staffing Team Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. We offer Medical and Dental Insurance to our Full Time Staff, Vacation Pay and Sick Pay. You will need to pass a drug test and TB test. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Monitor the daily schedule and identify uncovered or at-risk shifts before they become emergencies Serve as rotating on-call Point of Contact (POC) after hours for urgent coverage needs Document all important caregiver conversations in scheduling software as needed Conduct shift verifications to confirm caregivers are working as scheduled and hours align with client authorizations Supervise shift actualization and claiming across all cases to maintain payroll accuracy; follow up immediately on any discrepancies Cross-reference client hours against IHSS authorizations and internal records to catch billing errors ahead of month-end close Track caregiver hours weekly to anticipate overtime risk and redistribute shifts when necessary Issue verbal and written warnings for policy violations Support hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new Personal Attendants Attend impromptu meetings as requested by the Staffing Supervisor, Track certification compliance (CPR, First Aid, TB, Drug test, LiveScan) Step in to provide direct client support in emergency situations when no caregiver is available What we're looking for Experience in staffing, home care scheduling, or a similar coordination role preferred — not required; we'll train the right person Familiarity with IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services) preferred — not required; we'll train the right person Comfortable managing high call volume while maintaining accuracy and professionalism on every interaction Detail-oriented and a problem-solver who finds coverage solutions others don't think of Exceptional follow-through Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/staffing software Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Santa Ana, CA 92705 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Santa Ana, CA 92705: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
