Staff Accountant
BioGreen 360 Staff Accountant Help Build the Financial Foundation for Our Next Stage of Growth BioGreen 360 is a fast-growing startup looking for an analytical, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. In this role, you will own our transactional workflows in QuickBooks Online, manage cash collections, support the month-end close, and keep our Budget vs. Actual tracking completely up to date. You will report directly to the Controller and help build scalable, data-driven accounting processes as we grow. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission and excited to make a meaningful impact by helping build a more sustainable world. This is not a traditional Staff Accountant role—it’s an opportunity to shape the financial infrastructure that will support BioGreen 360’s future growth. We are seeking an adaptable team member who is eager to learn, actively support an initial audit, and author clear process documents and standard workflows. While you will start by maximizing our current QuickBooks environment, you will also play a key role in supporting our eventual transition to a more robust, enterprise-level ERP accounting system. Over time, you will continuously audit our processes to establish workflow efficiencies that save time and eliminate friction across the organization. What We Do BioGreen360 is transforming the way the world manages food waste through innovative, waterless, closed-loop technology that converts 100% of food waste into a reusable organic resource. Our mission is to eliminate food waste from landfills, reduce carbon emissions, and help organizations achieve their sustainability goals by creating a truly circular solution that benefits both business and the environment. The ideal candidate embraces change, approaches challenges with creativity, and is eager to contribute wherever needed to advance the company's mission and support its continued growth and success. What You Bring · Bring 2–4 years of professional accounting experience with a heavy emphasis on transactional workflows, collections, and budget tracking. · Demonstrate expert-level, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online to manage daily financial operations. What Success Looks Like Success in your first year means establishing yourself as a vital partner to the Controller by building efficient accounting processes and implementing operational best practices. You will drive cash flow efficiency by working closely with employees across the organization to collect all necessary bills, expenses, invoices, and contracts in a timely manner.
