# Sr. Site Engineer **FDG** · Riyadh · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Senior Site Engineer – Qatar Job Title: Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical / Piping Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar Project: Desalination / RO Plant Job Type: Full-time Job Description We are urgently hiring an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical/Piping for our ongoing Desalination / RO Plant Project in Ras Laffan, Qatar . The candidate must have strong experience in metallic/process piping construction and be capable of independently managing site execution, manpower, materials, technical coordination, and progress. Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory . Strong GCC oil & gas experience – mandatory . Extensive experience in metallic/process piping fabrication, erection and installation . Experience in Desalination / RO Plant projects is highly preferred . Strong knowledge of CS/SS piping, fittings, valves, supports and mechanical equipment installation . Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings and project specifications . Experience in piping fit-up, welding coordination, hydrotesting, test packages, reinstatement and punch-list clearance. Experience in mechanical equipment erection and alignment is an advantage. Strong knowledge of method statements, ITPs and construction procedures. Capable of planning daily activities, allocating manpower and monitoring productivity. Coordinate effectively with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Engineering, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives . Able to identify and resolve site technical issues and construction delays. Previous Qatar / Ras Laffan experience is an advantage . Candidates must have a passport valid for more than one year . Immediate or short-notice candidates preferred. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily mechanical and piping construction activities; ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedule; coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and work fronts; monitor piping fabrication and erection; resolve technical/site issues; coordinate inspections and testing; monitor productivity and progress; and support mechanical completion and project handover.
