In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable web applications, leveraging your expertise in front-end and back-end technologies. Your innovative mindset and proactive approach will drive the creation of responsive, user-friendly interfaces and robust server-side solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs and enhances user experiences. Duties Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js for front-end development and Node.js for server-side logic. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems. Build responsive, scalable user interfaces with HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and Redux. Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs to support application functionalities. Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and user flows into functional web designs that prioritize usability and accessibility. Implement containerization using Docker, automate deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and manage system architecture for optimal performance. Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and ensure adherence to Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Utilize version control tools like Git or SVN to manage code repositories effectively. Optimize applications for scalability, security, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement within the team. Experience Proven experience developing complex web applications using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Sass. Strong back-end expertise with Node.js frameworks like Express.js; familiarity with Java Spring Framework or ASP.NET Core is a plus. Hands-on experience working with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, or similar systems; proficiency in SQL query writing is essential. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker; experience with Ansible for automation is advantageous. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub; experience deploying on Linux environments is preferred. Understanding of system architecture principles for building scalable web applications; experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL is desirable. Experience working within Agile teams using tools like Jira or Trello; familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies is beneficial. Ability to develop responsive web designs ensuring optimal UX across devices; knowledge of wireframing tools is a plus. Exposure to web design standards including AJAX, XML, JSON data formats; experience integrating SOAP or RESTful APIs is valuable.
