Sr Project QA/QC Manager

Comprehensively coordinate quality planning, process control, testing and inspection, acceptance, documentation, defect rectification, and system implementation for the upper structure of the airport across all professions; establish a project QA/QC management system, supervise the construction quality, coordinate with the owner, supervisor, design institute, and third-party testing agencies, and ensure the project meets the required standards.

Main job responsibilities

(2) Quality control of raw materials, components, and equipment

(3) Quality control of the construction process by profession

(4) Acceptance, documentation, and finished product protection management

(5) Quality defect, problem rectification, and handling of non-conforming items

(6) External coordination, internal and external collaboration, and team management

(7) Quality control during the warranty period

Requirements

(1) Basic Conditions & Work Experience

Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to those in related fields such as Engineering Management, Quality Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, or Steel Structure.

At least 8 years of experience in the full QA/QC process of construction projects, including no less than 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager on large-scale airport terminal/transportation hub upper structure projects.

(2) Professional Competence

Proficient in civil aviation engineering standards, international building standards, British Standards (BS), US standards, and quality control requirements under the FIDIC system. Familiar with local engineering acceptance rules in the UAE.

Skilled in the full QA/QC process, capable of independently preparing various quality plans, schemes, and reports.

Possesses the ability to analyze quality issues, implement corrective actions, and identify potential risks. Good at handling disputes during multi-party acceptance and dealing with complex quality problems.

(3) Certification Requirements

Preference given to those holding professional certifications such as registered Constructor, Quality Engineer, or Non-Destructive Testing.

Preference given to those with an internal auditor certificate for international quality management systems (ISO9001).

(4) Language & Office Tools

Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Proficient in using Office, Excel, and CAD. Preference given to those who can use P6, BIM, and testing and inspection software.

(5) Project Experience

Preference given to those with complete experience in overseas airport projects in the UAE or Gulf countries.

Preference given to those who have experience with phased acceptance, completion acceptance, and specialized civil aviation acceptance of large-scale terminals.

(6) Overall Competence

Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage teams and reasonably allocate work. Good professional ethics.

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
