Position Overview Reyes Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, walls, and tunnels. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction from planning through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Project Manager will supervise cross-functional teams, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and manage financial risks to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling Develop comprehensive work plans and staffing strategies for each project phase Coordinate daily/weekly meetings with superintendents and engineers to align on methods, schedules, and procurement timelines Utilize project management software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting Oversee project closeout activities including documentation, retainage collection, and claims resolution Budget Management Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness Review estimates and allocate resources across project phases Approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections Negotiate and approve change orders Monitor financial performance and mitigate risks Team Leadership & Coordination Lead and supervise engineers, superintendents, craft workers, and subcontractors Foster a collaborative and productive work environment Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Quality Assurance Ensure construction meets legal and quality specifications Conduct site inspections and audits Oversee testing of materials and workmanship Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary liaison for clients, government agencies, and community groups Provide regular updates on project progress Manage contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers Ensure superintendents understand and execute project requirements Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with environmental and legal regulations Respond effectively to unforeseen issues and emergencies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field 8–10 years of experience managing heavy civil design-build projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal standards Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications preferred Spanish language skills are a plus Benefits Packages May Include Health & Wellness Medical, dental, and vision insurance Mental health resources and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Health savings accounts (HSA) Employer paid LDT, STD, Basic Life and AD&D Financial & Retirement 401(k) with company match Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses Paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) Equal Opportunity Statement Reyes Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
