# Sr. Procurement Engineer - Civil **GBH International Group** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer (Civil) to manage the procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and compliance with project specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate procurement activities for civil construction projects. Develop and implement procurement plans based on project requirements, specifications, and schedules. Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material requirements to identify procurement needs. Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors for civil materials and services. Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and negotiate competitive prices and terms. Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), and subcontract agreements . Coordinate with project, engineering, planning, commercial, and site teams to ensure timely procurement. Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications, required quality standards, and project schedules. Review technical and commercial quotations and coordinate technical evaluations with the engineering/QA/QC teams. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, material lead times, deliveries, and outstanding purchase orders. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Maintain an updated procurement tracker and provide regular procurement status reports. Identify potential procurement risks and develop alternative sourcing strategies where required. Coordinate with logistics and site teams regarding material delivery and inspection. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier/vendor database. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project requirements, and approved budgets. Assist in cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for value engineering and alternative materials. Resolve procurement-related issues with suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain proper procurement records, quotations, comparisons, approvals, purchase orders, and supplier documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management , or a related field. 8–12 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within civil construction or contracting companies. Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, suppliers, subcontractors, and market practices. UAE/GCC procurement experience is preferred. Experience in sourcing and procurement of concrete, reinforcement steel, structural materials, finishing materials, waterproofing, blocks, tiles, and other civil construction materials . Strong negotiation, vendor management, and commercial evaluation skills. Good understanding of BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office ; experience with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines. Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
