The role will be responsible for daily accounting activities, cash collection and treasury management, safeguarding and controlling substantial cash holdings, coordinating external accounting and audit service providers, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will supervise and coach the Assistant Finance Officer cum Admin Support, while serving as the key finance liaison between the Dubai office and Hong Kong headquarters. Report directly to the Finance Head in Hong Kong. Job Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting Oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance operations for the Dubai entity Prepare monthly financial reports, and analysis for Hong Kong headquarters Maintain proper accounting records, internal controls, and document retention practices Cash Management & Treasury Manage daily cash receipts, collections, and bank deposits Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and liquidity management Safeguard and control substantial cash holdings through robust cash handling procedures and internal controls Monitor banking activities and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions Audit & External Accountant Coordination Act as the primary finance contact for external accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and corporate service providers Coordinate annual statutory audits and financial reviews Ensure timely completion of audit and compliance requirements Liaise closely with outsourced accounting firms to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records Free Zone & Regulatory Compliance Oversee the use of DAFZAway system and other UAE regulatory platforms Coordinate company licence renewals, regulatory submissions, and compliance filings Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements Job Requirements: Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines Experience Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience Experience in cash management, treasury operations, and handling significant cash transactions is essential UAE experience and familiarity with DAFZA regulations and Free Zone operations are highly preferred Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Familiar with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory compliance requirements is advantage Hands-on experience with UAE government portals is highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Language Requirements Mandatory: Fluent in Chinese (reading, writing and speaking) – must be able to communicate effectively with Hong Kong headquarters Good command of English (written and spoken) Full-time
