Let's build a better industry. Position Overview The Sr. Director, Product Management — DV Publisher Suite owns the product strategy, roadmap and delivery for DoubleVerify Publisher Suite, a comprehensive suite of revenue analytics, quality & performance measurement, and inventory curation tools. DV Publisher Suite customers include some of the most recognized names in media spanning Broadcasters, News, Retailers and Device Manufacturers The portfolio is broad and technically deep. It spans revenue analytics — a suite of tools for all publisher monetisation needs, managing both direct and programmatic datasets, letting clients build reports, dashboards, and forecasts across their entire revenue base– and the Inventory Quality & Targeting Suite is DVPS's analytics and curation suite that lets publishers discover and prove out their high-performing, authentic inventory. It measures across the same quality and performance pillars advertisers value. Publishers are a fundamentally different customer than advertisers: different economics, different buying centers, different definitions of success. This role exists to make sure DV builds for them on their terms. You will lead a team of five Product Managers, partner closely with a dedicated publisher engineering organization and a dedicated publisher sales and client support team, and operate as the product leader of a focused, entrepreneurial unit with a single goal — profitable growth in the publisher business. The mandate is ambitious. You will set a multi-year product vision for how premium publishers monetize in an environment reshaped by streaming, curation, AI-driven content discovery and continued pressure on open-web economics. You will make hard portfolio calls about where to invest, where to simplify and where to stop. And you will be accountable for delivery: clear requirements, realistic scope, and products that ship and get adopted. This is a role for a product leader who can innovate against a long-term vision and a quarterly commercial reality at the same time — who is energized by owning a business, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, and credible with publishers, engineers and executives alike. Job Responsibilities - Own and be accountable for the DVPS product vision, strategy, roadmap and revenue outcomes across the full portfolio — Revenue Analytics and Inventory Quality & Targeting product suites - Lead, coach and grow a team of five Product Managers; raise the bar on product craft, customer discovery and delivery discipline, and develop the next generation of product leaders on the team. - Partner with the GM of the Publisher business as the product leader, jointly setting priorities against revenue and customer commitments while owning product strategy and prioritization. - Drive delivery velocity in close partnership with the dedicated Publisher engineering organization; establish clear requirements, make explicit prioritization decisions, and manage scope. - Define and analyze the metrics that determine whether DVPS products are winning — adoption, revenue attach, retention, and publisher-side yield impact — and use them to reallocate investment. - Own competitive and market position for publisher-side analytics, delivery and quality; ensure DV remains the best publisher product in market. - Engage directly and frequently with premium publishers and industry bodies, including IAB working groups; represent DV at industry events, standards groups and customer executive reviews. - Coordinate with DV's broader product organization on shared platform capabilities — classification, fraud, measurement infrastructure and reporting — to ensure DVPS benefits from company-wide investment rather than rebuilding it. - Become the organization's go-to authority on publisher monetization, sell-side verification, and the DV Publisher Suite. Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of total professional experience, including 7+ years in Product Management. - 3+ years of people management experience with Product Managers as direct reports, including hiring, performance management and career development. - 3+ years of product experience in publisher-side advertising technology — publisher ad servers, order and inventory management systems, header bidding, SSPs, yield management, revenue analytics or programmatic monetization. - Demonstrated ownership of a product line with direct revenue accountability, including the tradeoffs between long-term platform investment and near-term commercial commitments. - Track record of leading products from strategy through launch and adoption, including complex platform migrations and modernization of mature products. - Superior data analysis skills; able to personally derive insight and action from data rather than delegating it. - Experience partnering effectively with a distributed engineering organization, including across time zones and cultures. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present credibly to executives, to engineers, and to publisher customers. - Organized with rigorous attention to detail and a demonstrated bias toward decisiveness under ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience at a premium publisher, SSP, ad exchange or publisher-side monetization platform. - Deep working knowledge of media quality measurement — invalid traffic and fraud, brand safety and suitability, viewability, attention — applied to sell-side use cases. - Familiarity with CTV and streaming supply, and with how premium publishers package and sell it. - Experience building/developing a high-caliber product team. - Experience with agile development at scale, and with UX partnership on research, prototyping and usability. - Hands-on SQL and data analysis capability. - B.S. or higher in Computer Science, a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined by a number of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role, based on the qualifications set forth in the job description, is between $219,000 - $336,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted
