We're Looking for a Senior Accountant Company: OX Connections LLP Location: Mumbai / Bhiwandi, Maharashtra Salary: Up to ₹50,000 a month, depending on your experience Experience: 4 to 7 years Job Type: Full-Time A Bit About Us We're OX Connections LLP — we import and trade connectors and cables used in power, data, and signal applications, and we also run our own wire harness manufacturing unit in Bhiwandi. We've been around for more than 20 years, importing from brands in Taiwan and China and supplying to electronics manufacturers and dealers across India. We're a small, hands-on team — not a big corporate setup — so we need someone who can actually run the accounts, not just sit and wait for instructions. What You'll Be Doing Doing the daily accounting work — entries, bookkeeping, all of it — in Tally for both our trading and manufacturing side Keeping payments and collections moving — following up with vendors, chasing customer payments, making sure nothing slips Handling GST — filing returns every month, doing reconciliations, and making sure we're not losing out on input tax credit Working on import accounting — bill of entry, customs duty, landed cost, and coordinating with our CHA Managing TDS — deductions, payments, quarterly filings Doing monthly bank reconciliations so the partners always know where cash stands Helping with year-end closing and working directly with our CA during audits Keeping the inventory accounting in order, since we deal with imported stock plus our own manufacturing Putting together simple reports for the partners when they need a financial picture Making sure statutory stuff like PF, ESIC, and professional tax is filed on time If we have a junior accountant or data entry person, keeping an eye on their work too Who We're Looking For Someone with 4 to 7 years of accounting experience — ideally from a trading, import, or manufacturing background, not a large corporate where you only handled one small piece B.Com or M.Com is fine; if you've done some CA/CMA papers, that's a bonus but not a must You should be comfortable in Tally and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables — the basics you'd actually use) You should know your way around GST and TDS, and it'll help a lot if you've touched import documentation or customs duty before Most importantly — someone who can just get on with the work without needing to be told every step.
