Position Details Position: Sport Department Manager Location: Klang Valley, Malaysia Number of Vacancies: 21 Basic Salary: RM4,050 per month Employment Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the department’s commercial performance, sales targets, and long-term development. Analyze market opportunities, manage budgets, forecast sales, and implement commercial strategies. Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team through continuous training and individual development plans. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring customers receive professional and sport-focused advice. Manage product presentation, department layout, stock availability, and inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards. Take on the responsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled and oversee overall store operations. Candidate Requirements Minimum Diploma qualification in any field. Open to final-year students, fresh graduates, and experienced professionals. Must have a genuine interest and passion for at least one sport and be comfortable engaging with customers about sports and sporting activities. Strong entrepreneurial mindset, sense of ownership, and commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using digital tools and technology in a retail environment. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to business requirements. Benefits & Incentives Monthly performance bonus of up to 20% of basic salary. Quarterly performance bonus of up to 5% of basic salary, based on KPIs such as store sales growth and member experience. 25% teammate discount.
