The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical assessment and management for patients with complex abdominal and gastrointestinal conditions. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized surgical treatment plans. Perform elective and emergency visceral and abdominal surgical procedures. Manage conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, and other abdominal organs. Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications. Perform appropriate minimally invasive and open surgical procedures within the scope of expertise. Coordinate patient care with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists. Provide surgical consultations and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives. Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required. Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards. Requirements Saudi Board Certification in Visceral Surgery, General Surgery, or relevant recognized specialty. Valid medical registration in the country of practice. Relevant clinical and surgical experience. Strong expertise in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery. Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and decision-making skills.
