The SPM is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing strategic and operational projects across Crossroads Utility Services, LLC. This position works closely with executive leadership, department managers, clients, vendors, and internal teams to manage complex projects, improve business processes, and support utility-related initiatives. The position is responsible for ensuring assigned projects are completed efficiently, accurately, within established timelines and budgets, and in alignment with Company objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and organizing documents, processes, operating procedures, and related information; · Maintains database of active projects, deadlines, statuses, and updates items regularly to management staff; · Leads and coordinates assigned projects, outside vendors, and cross-functional team resources needed to carry out service requirements and controls within an established timeframe; · Ensures development of solutions will meet a cost effective and high-quality standard for assigned projects; · Provides high-quality professional advice and service to internal teams, outside vendors, and clients according to acceptable Company standards; · Maintains close and frequent contact with project team members, clients, and vendors; · Prepares effective, comprehensive communications and internal buy-in and develops plans that are well organized and well written, with detailed time and budgets that are appropriate to Company needs and reasonable with regard to team resource utilization. · Ensures execution of plans and projects with utmost efficiency; · Manages day-to-day PM activities, including research, planning, project development, implementation, and evaluation of internal business processes and activities while paying careful attention to budgets, team resources, deadlines, and Company goals; · Works closely with mid-management and senior management to achieve completion of assigned tasks/projects; · Demonstrates proficiency in researching, evaluating, organizing, and presenting information from electronic, regulatory, industry, and other professional resources relevant to assigned projects; and · Demonstrates understanding of accounting principles and QuickBooks · Ensures compliance with Company policies and procedure and applicable accounting principles; and · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed or directed by management. Qualifications & Education Requirements · Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills; · Job Experience where a high attention to detail and quality in difficult tasks is expected; · The ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and assigned projects to meet tight deadlines; · A self-driven work ethic needing minimal to no supervision to complete assigned work; · Experience with analyzing and evaluating multi-faceted business processes; · Experience leading an internal team of assigned resources towards a completed assignment/task; · Practical knowledge of water and wastewater utility billing, utility finance, customer services, utility construction, utility operations, and meter reading in municipal environments; · Knowledge and use of project, workflow and presentation tools; · Experience with various CIS and CRM software platforms, · A proficiency in communication and project-management platforms such as Slack, Trello, MaintainX, ABIS, Adobe Pro, Microsoft office suite tools, including Excel; · A PMP certification; · A valid driver's license; and · The ability to handle time sensitive tasks as assigned by a supervisor · High School diploma with 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and project manager experience; and · BA/BS degree in business or accounting with at least 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, business management and/or project manager experience (Preferred) Physical Demand · The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, communicate verbally, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds and may require walking or standing at utility facilities, construction sites, or other field locations. Work Environment · Well-lit, temperature-controlled office environment. · Moderate noise levels typical of an office setting. · Occasional outside duties, as needed Work Hours/Schedule · Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Location: 101 W.
