The role involves ensuring high-quality sound throughout events and coordinating closely with the production and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and dismantle sound and audio equipment for events and exhibitions. Install and configure microphones, speakers, mixers, amplifiers, processors, and other audio equipment. Conduct sound checks and troubleshoot audio issues before and during events. Operate mixing consoles and audio control systems during live events. Monitor sound levels and ensure clear, balanced, and consistent audio output. Coordinate with event producers, stage managers, AV technicians, and other technical teams. Assist with equipment loading, unloading, transportation, and safe handling. Maintain and inspect audio equipment to ensure proper working condition. Identify and resolve technical issues quickly during live events. Follow venue, event, and company safety procedures. Support other technical requirements as needed during event setup and execution. Requirements Proven experience as a Sound Technician, Audio Technician, or similar role. Experience in events, exhibitions, conferences, live shows, or entertainment productions. Good knowledge of professional audio equipment and sound systems. Experience with digital and/or analog mixing consoles. Ability to troubleshoot audio and technical issues under pressure. Good understanding of microphones, speakers, signal flow, cabling, and audio connections. Ability to work effectively as part of a technical production team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during event periods. Good communication and coordination skills. Physically fit and comfortable with event setup, dismantling, and handling equipment. Preferred Experience working with large-scale events, exhibitions, concerts, or corporate productions. Knowledge of different audio brands, consoles, and digital audio systems. UAE or GCC event production experience. Relevant technical certification or training is an advantage. Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
