The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute t est plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. - Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. - Identify, document, track, and manage software defects using appropriate defect-tracking tools. - Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify potential issues and clarify acceptance criteria. - Conduct API, database, and backend testing as required. - Perform manual and automated testing where applicable. - Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure issues are properly resolved. - Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, test results, and defect reports. - Assist in identifying opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and overall software quality. - Provide clear and timely reports on testing progress, risks, issues, and results. - Ensure that software releases meet defined quality standards and requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. - At least 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing. - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. - Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms. - Knowledge of SQL and database testing. - Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools is an advantage. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
