Software Engineering Manage

Role Description This part-time hybrid role for a Software Engineering Manager is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Software Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that support AI-powered digital marketing products. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding engineering teams, reviewing technical designs and architectures, coordinating project timelines and priorities, and ensuring high-quality code standards. The role involves collaborating closely with product, data, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable systems and to continuously improve existing platforms. The Software Engineering Manager will also mentor team members, promote best practices in software engineering, and support a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Software Design, with experience building scalable, secure applications.
• Candidates should possess Team Leadership and Project Management skills to lead engineering teams, manage roadmaps, and deliver projects on time.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Distributed Systems, including designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based or microservices architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML-driven products, data-intensive systems, or digital marketing platforms is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
• Experience working in hybrid or flexible work settings and managing teams across locations is an advantage.
