Software Engineering Manage

Role Description This part-time hybrid Software Engineering Manager role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Software Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and delivery of software solutions, guiding engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include planning and prioritizing work, conducting code and design reviews, coordinating with product and stakeholder teams, and ensuring that distributed systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. The role also involves mentoring engineers, improving engineering processes and standards, and monitoring project progress to meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations. The manager will regularly collaborate in-person with cross-functional teams while leveraging remote tools to support team communication and alignment. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess familiarity with modern development practices (e.g., agile methodologies, CI/CD, code review, and testing).
• Candidates should preferably have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
