We are building the mobile apps and online store that power our customer experience, and team members contribute to an innovative environment where foodservice, robotics, and customer-centric design intersect, supporting the growth of next-generation vending solutions. Responsibilities - Develop, build and maintain high-performance cross-platform mobile and desktop apps (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS) using .NET MAUI. - Participate in app architecture design and write high-quality, maintainable, scalable C# code. - Continuously optimize app performance, memory usage and responsiveness. - Develop core features of the app's online store, including product display, shopping cart, order management, promotions, customer reviews, and multi-currency and multi-language support. - Integrate major third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay) and ensure secure, smooth transaction flows. - Integrate deeply with the Azure ecosystem, using Azure App Services, Functions, Blob Storage and Cosmos DB to exchange cloud data securely. - Package, sign, review for compliance and publish apps to the App Store and Google Play, and handle follow-up review issues and version updates. Requirements - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field. - 4+ years of C# / .NET development experience. At least one completed project using .NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms) is highly preferred. - Expert knowledge of C# and the .NET 8 / 9 environment, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming (async/await), dependency injection and LINQ. - Proficient in the MVVM design pattern, XAML layouts and custom control development. - Experience developing mobile e-commerce apps, and familiarity with shopping cart logic, local caching and multi-threaded data synchronization. - Familiarity with mobile security practices (data encryption, HTTPS, JWT authentication and replay-attack prevention). - Familiarity with the Azure platform, with development experience using Azure API Management, Service Bus or Notification Hubs (for push notifications). - Understanding of cloud authentication (Azure AD / Entra ID / B2C). - Proficient with popular backend databases, including SQL Server, MySQL or Azure Cosmos DB. - Proficient with Git for version control and understanding of CI/CD workflows (such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps). - Good habits in code commenting and documentation, and a solid habit of writing unit tests. - Professional written and verbal English. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Compensation and Benefits The expected annual compensation for this position is CA$60,000 -CA$85,000. The final package will be based on the candidate's experience, capabilities, and fit for the role.
