You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems, integrate secure APIs, and support core financial and insurance workflows. Key Responsibilities Write, maintain, and optimize robust backend code primarily using C#, .NET Core/MVC, and SQL Server. Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Monitor technical performance, troubleshoot system issues, and perform bug fixes on internal systems. Maintain database architecture and queries using SQL Server and code-first Entity Framework. Conduct unit testing, write clear technical documentation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in backend software development. Proficiency in C#, .NET (MVC & Core), and SQL Server. Practical experience with code-first Entity Framework, API architecture, and cloud deployments. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and Cron jobs. Working knowledge of Git/GitHub version control and standard CI/CD / DevOps workflows. Experience in fintech, insurtech, or financial systems is an added advantage. Work Location & Commute KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur (Directly linked to LRT & KTM Abdullah Hukum stations). Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
