The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of software development experience and will take ownership of building, deploying and maintaining AI-powered systems. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test and maintain AI-powered software applications. - Train, fine-tune and evaluate computer vision models for tasks such as object detection. - Work with image and video data. - Deploy and manage AI models, including language models, on cloud infrastructure. - Develop and maintain APIs, databases and system integrations. - Monitor, troubleshoot and improve performance and reliability. - Handle sensitive data in line with security and compliance requirements. - Document systems and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience. - Strong programming skills in Python. - Hands-on experience training or fine-tuning at least one machine learning model. - Experience with Linux, Docker and deploying applications to the cloud. - Knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. - Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred - Experience with OpenCV, PyTorch or object detection models such as YOLO. - Experience processing video streams. - Experience deploying open-source AI models, including large language models (LLMs).
