The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including SQL queries and stored procedures, along with ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, SSMS, SSRS, Azure, and GitHub. This is a local-only Phoenix position. The candidate must be available for onsite work during the initial 4-month contract period. Required Skills 3–5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience Strong SQL expertise Advanced SQL Queries SQL Stored Procedures Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) ASP.NET C# Microsoft Visual Studio Web application development Software debugging and testing Production system support Technical and software documentation Requirements analysis and functional design Azure Database, Storage, and App Services GitHub Preferred Skills SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Experience generating SSRS reports Experience working with Azure database and storage solutions Key Responsibilities Design and develop web applications based on functional and technical designs, following development standards and best practices. Support production systems and resolve production issues and end-user service requests in a timely manner. Analyze, debug, and resolve application defects and development issues. Develop application enhancements and fixes based on functional and technical requirements. Perform unit testing and system testing to ensure application quality. Prepare technical documentation, including: Functional specifications Technical specifications Use cases Test cases System documentation Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements. Contribute to the development and completion of functional specifications. Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures. Generate and support SSRS reports. Utilize Azure Database, Storage, and App Services. Follow SDLC, change-management, and development standards. Participate in code management and deployments using GitHub.
