Since its inception at a local market stall in 2018, LANX has witnessed remarkable growth. Boasting a dedicated team of 60+ staff and growing, attending 10+ major UK events annually, a store in Manchester’s bustling Northern Quarter, and official footwear supplier to some of the UK’s finest sports teams; Harlequins, Leicester Tigers, Sale Sharks to name a few. LANX is on an ambitious path of further growth and is eager to expand the team with people that share our values and commitment to quality. WHY LANX? LANX is an ambitious British footwear brand with a passion for quality, craftsmanship and creating products we're proud to put our name to. We're building something special, and we're looking for people who want to be part of that journey. This role offers genuine creative ownership, the opportunity to influence how our brand is seen by new audiences and the freedom to develop ideas that can make a measurable difference. You'll be joining a passionate, collaborative team where initiative is valued, ideas are encouraged and the contribution you make really matters. If you're a talented creative who wants to take ownership, push boundaries and help build the next chapter of LANX, we'd love to hear from you. THE ROLE We're looking for an ambitious, talented and commercially minded Social Media Creative Lead to take ownership of our paid media creative strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes creative content, understands what makes a great advert and has the skills to bring ideas to life. You'll be responsible for planning, creating, filming, editing and continually improving the content we use across our paid digital channels, primarily Meta (Facebook and Instagram), with opportunities to expand into other platforms. You'll work closely with our internal brand team and external paid media specialists to create campaigns that build brand awareness, drive engagement and, ultimately, generate sales. At LANX, brand identity is everything. Every piece of creative must look, feel and sound “LANXY”, while being designed to capture attention and deliver results. We're not looking for someone to simply follow a content calendar. We want someone who brings ideas to the table, takes ownership and makes things happen. This is an opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of an ambitious British brand. KEY RESPONSABILITIES 1. Paid Media Creative Strategy & Planning - Own and develop the creative strategy for all LANX paid social media channels, with an initial focus on Meta. - Build and manage weekly content plans that align with product collections, seasonal campaigns, launches and wider business objectives. - Plan and deliver content at least 30 days ahead of scheduled campaign launches, ensuring a consistent pipeline of fresh creative. - Develop concepts and campaign ideas that balance strong brand storytelling with commercial performance. - Identify opportunities to test new creative formats, messaging, hooks and approaches. - Work closely with the brand team to ensure all paid media content is consistent with the LANX brand guidelines, visual identity and tone of voice. 2. Content Creation & Production - Take a hands-on approach to producing engaging, high-quality content for paid advertising, from initial concept through to final edit. - Plan, shoot and edit video and photography specifically designed for paid social media. - Create a variety of advertising assets, including short-form video, product-led content, lifestyle creative, static imagery and campaign storytelling. - Develop multiple creative variations to support testing and optimisation. - Attend LANX photoshoots, working alongside the brand team to capture additional content specifically for paid campaigns. - Proactively identify opportunities to capture fresh and authentic content across the business, including visits to our partner factories to showcase the craftsmanship behind LANX products. - Think beyond the usual locations. Whether it's a hotel, a workshop, the countryside or somewhere completely unexpected, we want you to bring forward creative ideas that make LANX stand out. - Scope out creative concepts, production requirements and associated costs, pitching ideas and budgets to the Chief Brand Officer. - Take responsibility for organising and delivering approved content shoots, ensuring creative ideas become finished assets. - You'll have the freedom to be creative, explore new ideas and take ownership of bringing them to life. 3. Paid Media Performance & Optimisation - Work closely with our external paid media specialists to review campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Understand the key performance indicators that matter, including engagement, click-through rates, conversions and return on advertising spend. - Use performance data to inform future creative decisions, identifying which content, messaging and formats resonate most with our audiences. - Continuously test, learn and refine creative approaches to improve results. - Contribute to regular performance reviews, sharing creative insights, recommendations and next steps. - Balance commercial performance with the importance of building and protecting the LANX brand. 4. Brand Collaboration & Wider Marketing - Work closely with the wider LANX team to ensure paid media activity supports our overall brand and marketing strategy. - Contribute fresh ideas for campaigns, launches, collaborations and marketing activity that get people clicking, talking and sharing. - Support the creation of organic social media content when required. - Provide occasional cover for organic social media channels during periods of annual leave or absence. - Maintain a strong understanding of LANX products, collections, customers and the craftsmanship that makes our brand different. 5. Creative Research & Innovation - Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, advertising formats and creative techniques. - Regularly research other brands, campaigns and creators to identify inspiration and opportunities. - Bring new ideas, approaches and creative thinking into the business. - Challenge existing ways of working and continually look for opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of our paid media content.
