Site Surveyor – Construction

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Surveyor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, performing accurate measurements, setting out construction works, and ensuring that all site activities comply with approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land and site surveys to determine accurate measurements, levels, boundaries, and elevations.
• Perform setting-out works for foundations, buildings, roads, and other construction activities.
• Operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments.
• Interpret construction drawings, site plans, and technical specifications.
• Establish reference points, benchmarks, grid lines, and building alignments.
• Monitor construction progress and verify dimensions and levels against approved drawings.
• Prepare survey reports, measurement records, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and construction teams.
• Ensure all surveying activities meet project requirements and accuracy standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of setting-out procedures, leveling, and site measurements.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and surveying software is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Immediate joiner is preferred.
