We currently have 85 pupils on roll aged between 4 and 11 years. We are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team at our school. The post is a dual role- part Site Supervisor and part cleaner. However, being a small school the site supervisor role is a majority cleaning position. (See Job description). Duties include the daily opening and locking up of the site, security checks, cleaning and general maintenance and DIY around the site. Other regular duties would include: All health and safety / compliance checks Undertake the cleaning within the school to ensure that the school maintains a clean and hygienic condition, which meets agreed quality standard External checks of the grounds - Keeping the site clean and tidy Co-ordinating / supervising external contractors and service engineers in the school holidays The working hours are 20 hours per week, number of hours per day to be organised with Line Manager prior to each holiday to fit in with contractors, deep clean requirements etc. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis. The post is term time only plus some additional weeks in school holidays. On a few occasions during the year, there is a need to be flexible in terms of start and finish times. For example when there is a parents evening or school event there will be requirement that the Site supervisor starts work later that day so that they can secure the building after the event.
